Duskmoor Daily
Mae D. - Jr. Reporter
As autumn returns to Duskmoor, long-standing unease has begun to resurface. Older residents still recall the disappearances near the sawmill, incidents officially ruled as accidents but never fully investigated. A mill employee believed to have been swept downriver. A woman who vanished along the forest trail and later returned, confused and unable to explain where she had been.
Discussion of the Moorcat has also reemerged. The council is considering turning the local legend into a seasonal attraction, a proposal that has raised concern among residents who connect the folklore to unresolved disappearances.
The council will vote on the matter this Friday. Residents are encouraged to attend the meeting and share their views.
